THE RENOVATION AND UPGRADING

Implementing green renovation and modernization upgrades for old hydropower stations is the only way for hydropower stations to undergo transformation and upgrading, as well as green development. The upgrades and renovations of hydropower stations mainly revolve around three core areas: electromechanical equipment, control systems, and hydraulic structures.

  • Intelligent control system for power station
  • Replace components such as the runner with high-efficiency ones, optimize the stator and rotor windings of the generator, and enhance the efficiency, capacity, and output stability of the unit.

  • Upgrade of automation and intelligent control system
  • In accordance with the requirement of "unmanned duty and fewer personnel on duty", the automatic control system is upgraded to a microcomputer monitoring system, equipped with advanced primary and secondary electrical systems such as monitoring and protection systems, and communication systems, to achieve remote start-stop, load adjustment, and fault warning functions.

  • Optimization of auxiliary system
  • Renovate the cooling, lubrication, and speed regulation systems, replace aged valves, pipelines, and pumps to ensure the reliability of the unit's operation; upgrade the excitation system to improve the quality of electric energy.

  • Implement ecological restoration and transformation of rivers
  • By installing ecological flow discharge devices and employing intelligent scheduling methods, the system addresses the issue of water reduction and flow loss in the river channel downstream of the dam, improves the effectiveness of ecological flow discharge, and meets the requirements of ecological protection.

Through measures such as enhancing unit efficiency, implementing intelligent upgrades, and carrying out ecological restoration, we aim to achieve intelligent operation and maintenance, standardized safe production, and normalized ecological flow monitoring, ultimately creating a modern green hydropower station.
